The Mexican Son Huasteco trio Zorzal, are ambassadors of the Son Huasteco tradition in The Netherlands and Europe. The so-called Son Huasteco or Huapango, is a lively traditional music style from Mexico’s Huasteca’s region, bursting full of energy and charm.

Its richness is reflected in the music, where the jarana, violin, and guitarra huapanguera tell ancestral stories as well as day to day to experiences, sang by the three huapangueros.

Zorzal is leaded by César Puente on jarana, Fátima Hernández on violin and Pablo Suaste on guitarra huapanguera.
