The Hi-Stakes

The Hi-Stakes is a hyperactive hyped hip Rhythm ‘n’ Blues band based in Amsterdam.
Original tunes, with lyrics full of irony and passion, played authentically from a vast range of popular genres of the time, be it a Blue Note Records’ boogaloo or an explosive old school rhythm ‘n blues number; in other words, their repertoire (entirely original) covers anything in between the jazz and the blues worlds.

Zorzal - Son Huasteco

Mexican folklore music from the north-east region of Mexico denominated Huasteca.

The Mexican Son Huasteco trio Zorzal, are ambassadors of the Son Huasteco tradition in The Netherlands and Europe. The so-called Son Huasteco or Huapango, is a lively traditional music style from Mexico’s Huasteca’s region, bursting full of energy and charm. It’s richness is reflected in the music, where the jarana, violin, andguitarra huapanguera tell ancestral stories as well as day to day to experiences, sang by the three huapangueros.

Edson Ensemble

Amsterdam-based chamber jazz group, led by Lithuanian jazz flutist Remigijus Kazukauskas (a.k.a Remi J.Edson). Ensemble's sound is warm and vibrant, featuring infectious melodies, orchestral textures, drummer-less grooves, and extended improvisations.
